Popular Education Network Scotland (PEN) is a grassroots community action group of volunteers committed to providing learning opportunities to activists within their communities.
PEN recognises the limitations of formal education and believes learning opportunities within communities, engaging activists on lived experiences provides the most effective environment for learning.

Who are Power to the People?
Power to the People is a Scottish-wide campaign group that has been active in campaigning against the rise in energy prices. Activists in local groups in Glasgow, Dundee, Inverness and elsewhere have been campaigning around three key demands:

-
A freeze on energy prices from 1 October
-
An end on late payment fees
-
Scrapping prepayment meters
PEN Scotland is proud to be working with Power to the People activists to develop educational materials and classes on the energy crisis, energy debt, and a future green energy policy for Scotland.
